ACUPUNCTURE for each consultation & treatment

Initial Consultation & Treatment Fee: $ 98

At present, your acupuncture treatment is not supported by Medicare.

However, if you joined private health funds, you’ll be rebated certain amount, depending upon your policy.

Most of private health fund are claimable by electronic claim on spot, immediately after treatment with HICAPS.

Only few health funds still are not available for electronic claims, in that case, you’ll get the manual receipt and lodge your claim manually to your health fund. Usually, they’ll deposit the rebate amount to your bank account.

Many alternative therapies such as remedial massage, osteopath, chiropractic, acupuncture, and naturopath are funded together. That meaning is if you are using other therapies, your fund may be running out quickly when you want to use acupuncture. You can check with your health fund for remaining available fund. Most of the private health funds are running by calendar year and some of the private health funds are running by the financial year. If your fund is running out, you can get it the next year again. Usually, your health funds reset the amount of rebate for claims per year at 1st day of January or 1st day of July each year.

Initial consultation/treatment may be usually around 50 minutes, depending your major concerns and conditions.

Follow-up Acupuncture Consultation and Treatment Fee: $88

Subsequent consultation/treatment may be also taking around 40 minutes. Your acupuncture practitioner

Worker’s Compensation Scheme Claim is not available for acupuncture at present. CTP Motor Vehicle Insurance Claim are available, and we directly claim your treatments’ fees to Insurance company and you don’t need to pay. They are applicable to terms & conditions. Usually, you need to prepare your claim number & contact details of your case manager. Treatment may be started after the practitioner have approval from your insurance company. Please advise practitioner.

ACUPUNCTURE & CHINESE HERBAL MEDICINE

Most of patients are choosing acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine together. In that case, we reduce the cost of fee for Chinese herbal medicine consultation. Therefore, the price is as follows.

Chinese Herbal Medicine(with acupuncture): $ 66

Your practitioner will briefly consult with you for your Chinese herbal medicine. Even if you did the consultation of acupuncture with your practitioner, you may need to consult further for Chinese herbal medicine. And after that, your practitioner will make prescription, preparation, explain your herbal formula for the functions, explain how to prepare for your tea called as the decoction(because it is stronger than the normal herbal tea), and explain how to take the decoction.

CHINESE HERBAL MEDICINE for each consultation

Initial Consultation & Treatment Fee: $ 98

Chinese herbal medicine is available with the various forms in the present markets. You can buy the pill, powder, granule, capsule, and raw herbs.

Chinese herbal medicine is not available for HICAPS. So, you have to claim Chinese herbal medicine manually. Your practitioner will issue the manual claimable receipt to you. Most of the health funds accept your claim by internet.

Follow-up Consultation and Treatment Fee: $88

Raw herbs for 6 days: $ 67

For prescription and herb dispensary, you should pay consultation and herbs after consultation.

The formulation of Chinese herbs is unique for your conditions for specific your needs. Therefore, it couldn’t use again for other patients. Please consider it can’t be returned and refunded from above reasons.
